Powdery Mildew

Many landscape plants are susceptible to powdery mildew fungi.  This fungus usually appears as a grayish or white powdery growth on the leaves and other tissue.   Most powdery mildews are unlikely to seriously harm certain plants but may cause leaves and shoots to become distorted and infected leaves to drop prematurely.
